Fiction that comes from Biblical Truth

"A high-stakes race against time that kept me turning pages late into the night, desperate to see how the characters would survive the unfolding chaos.

From age six I have been an avid reader. 70% of my reading to date (I am now 76) has been non-fiction, with the remaining 30% an occasional slip to the fiction side. I always have at least one book in progress. I bought this book because someone recommended it as a good Christian book. I expected it to be one of those books that I would have to plod through; you know, counting how many pages till the end of a chapter so I knew how much I had to suffer through before I could put it down. I was very surprised to find this is one of those books you don't want to put down. The story is totally captivating. It follows end-of-time events as found in the Bible's book of Revelation. The author uses excellent imagery for sights, sounds, and smells to paint a verbal picture. This is an outstanding book.

A cautionary tale so you can make certain that your affairs are in order? Sure. Especially for those who feel we are living in the end times (I’m looking at you FB warriors) but I like this book for several reasons- it moves fast, you don’t need a degree to enjoy it, and a sense of urgency adds to it whether you believe or don’t. Plus as a fan of zombie apocalypse stories, the horrifying prophecy this is based on has been around for thousands of years, and a gun, fire or a Valyrian Steel sword would be useless against what befalls mankind. Read and find out what it takes the protagonist to survive the trials and tribulations of the true apocalypse.

I so enjoyed reading this book by one of my dear friends. It's inspirational as well and kinda scary of what will happen one day when we least expect it. Nicely done, Chris! A great read and would highly suggest getting a copy for yourself.
